On Thursday, October 9, 2025, to commemorate the publication of Exploring Gender from Diverse Perspectives: Thirteen Lectures at the University of Tokyo (edited by Kaori Hayashi, Supervisor, UTokyo Center for Coproduction of Inclusion, Diversity and Equity [IncluDE], University of Tokyo Press, 2025), an online publication celebration event was held with about 50 participants.
Following opening remarks by Kaori Hayashi, Executive Vice President of the University of Tokyo and editor-in-chief of the volume, Mariko Ogawa, Deputy Head of the Office for Gender Equity, provided an overview of the book. Seven of the contributing authors also presented summaries of their chapters. The event concluded with closing remarks by Takane Ito, Director of IncluDE.
