International Women’s Day Event(On-campus only): Overcoming life events during graduate school

To celebrate International Women’s Day, Office for Gender Equity (IncluDE)  hold this event. The purpose of this event is to share the experiences of life events (pregnancy, childbirth, child rearing, etc.) during graduate student years with respective speakers in the humanities and sciences, and for networking among UTokyo members who are interested in this topic. We look forward to your participation.

Venue:Fulutake Hall in Hongo Campus, The University of  Tokyo
   ※We are going to prepare online venue (Zoom) for the 1st session.

Program:
【1st Session:Roundtable】14:30~15:30
The program will be conducted as a hybrid of in-person and online. Roundtable discussions will be held by those who have experienced life events (primarily pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting) during their time as graduate students. Experiences from both humanities and science fields will be shared by each speaker. We will also have the opportunity to hear from the perspective of not only the graduate students, but also from the faculty advisor’s side.

【2nd Session:Networking】15:30~16:30
In-person and only. Networking will be held for those who wish to participate.
Hosted by  Koko ISHIZAKA (School of Engineering, Professor)

Eligible participants:Members of UTokyo (students, faculty and staff members), 50 people maximum (respectively in-person and online)
