The event “UTokyo’s Unbalanced Gender Ratio: An Interactive Roundtable”,co-organized by Tokyo College and The Office for Gender Equity, was held on July 25, 2024.
This event aimed to discuss the reasons why the gender ratio is unbalanced at UTokyo and the ways to solve the problem through an interactive roundtable that will feature UTokyo professors, researchers, and students.
As a panelist, Asuka Ando (Project Researcher) attended the event and made a short presentation about the projects “#WeChange” and “#Headwinds（言葉の逆風）”.

It was first time for us to have an English event related to the “#Headwinds” project. It was such an honor to be able to discuss with those who are not reachable with Japanese! The discussions were very productive in English, too.
