The Office for Gender Equality has been holding the “UTokyo Women⁺ Let’s Create a Network of Researchers” meetings since AY2014 with the main purpose of supporting the career development and networking of female researchers.
This networking event welcomes all researchers, regardless of gender and age and so on, and is being developed with the aim of creating a large network of researchers within the university.
This year, we are going to focus on communication among researchers. We will provide an opportunity for researchers to share and discuss openly about their ideas and challenges in the group divided based on themes and position/status, as well as to develop their network. (Groups will be divided based on their job title/status)
Part 2 is optional for those who wish to stay to join.
Participants will discuss with those who hold same job title / status.
Graduate students will also be divided into either Master’s degree or PhD groups.
*English will be used as the discussion language if a participant in your discussion group based on position/status is a non-native Japanese speaker.
*Participants are free to leave even during the middle of the event.
