On November 2nd and 6th, the third “Opinion exchange meeting for the Five-year plan to accelerate the increase in female faculty members” in AY2023 was held. This time, we invited Dr. Kathy Takayama, Executive Director for Professional Development and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at The Center for Professional Development and Inclusive Excellence (C-Hub) at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (OIST) to give a talk entitled “Opportunities to revise hiring search practices in universities to improve equity and excellence.”
