The University of Tokyo launched the “UTokyo Gender Equity Initiative #WeChange” (Initiative for Implementation of Diverse Research Environment, Female Leader Development Type) under the MEXT Science and Technology Human Resource Development Support Program in 2022. As a part of our initiative, we published data on male and female research activities, such as the number and ratio of female professors and associate professors, as well as that of female students at graduate and undergraduate levels on the Office for Gender Equality website and linked them to the #WeChange website. We will continue to promote the visualization of researchers of UTokyo and their research results to ensure transparency through the disclosure of data.
