The Office for Gender Equality of the University of Tokyo made the “Unconscious Bias Check Sheet for Candidate Evaluations” to check one’s own biases, especially targeting those in charge of personnel selection. We have already distributed the sheet to faculty and staff members on-campus, and we hear positive comments. We hope that this check sheet will be used for personnel selections both inside and outside the campus.
